Is this change for metro only? Where else can I get me a new reduced price iphone which, more often than not, requires a port in? And also, one that would work with a GV number. Need a replacement for my younger kid's iphone 7 that finally stopped working. It would only be used as a wifi device. Even used iphones are hard to find for under $100. In decent shape anyway.

I don't know if other carriers are also cracking down on GV/NB numbers. You can sign up for Visible, $5 for the first month with friend referral code (Google this as we are not allowed to give out codes here) and port that number to Metro to get the discount.

Bought 4 and traded 3 so far to BB made a nice profit of $250. I'll be making a bunch more once I trade my 13 and additional 12 in.

Tello won't work, but Ting might if your card is from Verizon instead of T-Mobile. Ting runs on both networks. You can try inputting your number into Metro to check and add the phone to the cart. If the full discount shows up, then you're good to go.

I am not able to order 3rd one, keep getting security error. Called them and now it is even worse. Says I am not eligible to add another line!.

Same, unable to add the 3rd line. The promotion terms is only for two lines so maybe they are now enforcing it limiting free phones to only two lines.
