No longer receiving deal alert emails

Hi - I haven't been receiving deal alert emails for almost a year now. Can you check if my account was flagged for bouncing emails, and if so reset it so they send again?

For a long while, I haven't been receiving any emails, on-site notifications or in my notifications page about any PMs I get, and not getting all the emails of threads that I am subscribed to either. I usually use redesign or classic . I didn't change any settings and I don't see anything to change in the settings that would help……(why does the mobile site take three pages to contain all the posts in a thread like this which is usually contained in one page in the other versions of the website? One of the reasons why I don't like to use it)

I might have fixed your PM pop up notification and email issue. I'll send you a test PM so you can check.

Regarding the subscribed threads - are you getting some subscribed thread emails, or none at all?

OK,now I'm getting the pop-up notification and it is appearing on my notification page as well but no email so far…. and I thought I was just not getting certain subscribed threads but it looks like now I haven't gotten any subscribers thread since January 6, if my mail search is any good. I get a lot of mail and I haven't totally noticed except for the threads I really wanted to keep track of…. But before this I did notice that it seemed I would get most subscribed threads but not all of them.(sometimes I accidentally hit the ignore button, but then I usually reverse it, but I don't think that really works?)… but this is not the problem I've been having lately, I just don't get any email for subscribe threads it looks like.
How is it only certain accounts get problems like this? One would think it would hit everyone.

Could you also tell me how many PMs & other items in our mailbox, Will stay in our inbox before they get deleted? or what is the timeframe before they get automatically deleted? Would be great if we didn't have to worry about saving certain messages before they get deleted.

I am not getting deal alerts either. Good thing I was checking Amazon Turbotax page daily because did not get an alert for it.

Thanks for checking. I'm not able to fix this issue, but I have reached out to the email team so that they can try to look into this.

In general, the reason that these types of issues only affect select accounts and not everyone is typically because of their email provider or inbox blocking our emails for some reason. For example, if your email account was too full, the emails that we send would be "bounced" back to us, so we stop trying to send them. Depending on the type of email that had this issue, it may only affect certain emails from us and not all emails. Once someone lets us know that they aren't receiving emails from us, we look into the issue and if the reason they aren't receiving them is because we stopped sending them, we are generally able to clear that block and resume sending them again.

I believe that the only types of PMs that get automatically deleted are Deal Alert PMs.

Thank you for all that help! But I am getting the vast majority of other types of email from you guys, which is a lot. So I don't think it's an issue of my email account being too full?… It would be great if you could answer the other question I posted on my previous post which I just edited…… also why can't I get a box to type a reply to posts in the redesign view? I'm using iPad iOS 17 something… haven't been able to reply from the redesigned view for a long time. Don't recall if I ever was able to, but probably.

My example about email accounts being too full was sort of a generic reply, I don't know the exact issue with your account. This part however does apply to your account: "Depending on the type of email that had this issue, it may only affect certain emails from us and not all emails."

I believe that the only types of PMs that get automatically deleted are Deal Alert PMs.

I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to, but please feel free to send in a screenshot with more information to [email protected]

It looks like we are sending out Deal Alert emails to you, as recently as today.
I'm glad you were able to still catch the sale. I'm definitely not a deal alert expert, but my guess is that your TurboTax deal alerts did not match the Amazon thread because of the space in your deal alert. "Turbo Tax" instead of "TurboTax"

yes you're right it's only the deal alert PMs that get deleted. I can't remember you guys used to have like a certain number that we were allowed to have in our inbox? I think it's depended on our points level?
…. There is no screenshot I can take to illustrate it,let me try to explain it better: in the redesign view which I mostly use, say I wanna reply to your post, I hit the reply button, and I get nothing, no box appears so I can directly reply to your post. So I have been having to go to 1 of the other versions like the classic view in order to reply to a post. I can use the comment box on the first page of a thread, but I cannot reply directly to someone in a thread in the redesigned view. No reply box appears

I stopped getting deal alert emails again, like an hour ago. Anything you could do is appreciated. I am still getting notifications on site. I am getting subscribed emails.
