For those that don't know, these digital Ryobi inflators can easily be reset to correct the PSI readings. Put a battery in, turn it on, hold + and - buttons together until the digital screen resets. This will make the reading accurate to within .5 psi if yours is not correctly calibrated from the factory

This beats the old version by miles. I switched all our crew to this style. No more waiting around to hold the trigger. Set the psi and it pumps to the exact number

I love these xiaomi 1S tire inflators. I have one for each of my cars and my kids cars, even bought a couple for gifts. I also have the older ryobi inflators and use all of them. But these little xiaomi units are very compact and work great and the battery seems to last a long time.. But I don't think it's really much quieter than my ryobi inflators and it gets hot.

You can set the psi on the tool. Tool stops when it reaches the set psi. I set the psi 2 more than what I want since it reads high while inflating.

Great tool for the price. Small enough to store in the trunk.

I wonder if it puts out the same air volume as the dual function inflator PCL031B ?

I have the older model of the dual function inflator and it's worked great for airing up after off-roading in my jeep for the last year. I'm looking to cut my airing up time that normally takes 25 minutes to air up 4 35's from 20 psi to 32 psi with the old model dual function inflator. I tried to use the Ryobi trigger pump but that thing struggled airing up one tire and it smelled like it was melting and got very hot.

There's an older version that's set and forget. It's huge though but comes with a mattress inflator side. I preferred the trigger version only because usually it's to top off. I'm not sure if this is also the same barrel but the old one was a twist on which is annoying.

this doesn't replace that older version... the older version is for both high pressure (filling tires) and low pressure (filling air mattresses)... this only does high pressure.

the dual one is clutch if you want one device that does both. i do agree though that the old trigger model was difficult to use with car tires... it was mainly designed for soccer balls and bicycle tires so it didn't really need an auto-stop, but yeah, it worked on car tires, just cumbersome. this one is designed to replace the trigger version if you use it to fill/top off car or truck tires
