I have this. It's pretty terrible. The pressure it gets is laughable. About the only thing it's good for is washing the car, and even that is debatable.
The battery probably isn't worth the $50 either considering it's only a 2Ah
I respectfully disagree. It's not a power washer and doesn't claim to be. It's a power cleaner, and works excellent for that. I use it all the time to clean the eaves on my house, clean off my bike after a muddy ride, wash my car, and anything else where lugging a full-size power washer isn't feasible or necessary.
Not to mention the bottle connection, which means I don't have to have a hose to use it, which is great for camping with my bike.
Just like any other tool, when you use it for things it's not meant for, it doesn't work super well. You wouldn't say a drill is terrible for pounding nails (I'd hope).
The price discount went through as well as my military discount. I balked at the $35 delivery fee (Im a member) and no option to do store pickup for free
Ryobi customer service is non existent. It's almost impossible to talk to a human. It used be to be extremely easy to do a battery warranty exchange. Good luck. I'm glad it went out of stock and wasn't able to order.
What? I got a broken regular battery exchanged last year and they sent me an HP one
Interestingly, I couldn't get this deal through the home depot app, but could get it through the website on my computer. So I now have one waiting for me at my local home depot for $50 and tax.

Well the AD starts off by saying this is the tool to use when a garden hose won't cut it. And then shows use cases where a garden hose with a sprayer would work well. Your use case (portability and bottle attachment) is better.

I have 40V batteries for the lawn mower and line trimmer and have had no issues. I read a lot of reviews on this and wonder if the 2Ah batteries are just faulty.
Why not just return to the store rather than dealing with a warranty?
They're sold out and I actually want to keep the units. Not sure if my store could get more from a different store, but that process probably takes the same amount of time as a warranty claim. I'd also be taking a chance at getting units with faulty batteries. At least with the claim, the battery should be in working order on arrival and not stock from 2/2022 like my power cleaners.

So yesterday I placed an order at a nearby store that showed 3 in stock. After placing an order for 1, I refreshed the page and it said 2 left. About an hour later, I get the cancellation email.
So I just got back from that Home Depot, I looked all over the ryobi section looking for this item. Even went outside in the garden section to check the rafters.
I finally found the pressure washing section and that's where it was. 1 left in stock
I wonder why my first order was cancelled. Lazy employee ?
Now let's hope this battery is good.
Anyone buy the $6 2 year protection plan? I was tempted to buy it after hearing all the dead battery stories

It says take 15 working days.
I have a feeling the battery is good, it just need a spark to get it going.
