In Bay Area Costco and National (and some random off brand places) are like $0.50 cheaper than any of these brands anyways.

Highly dubious. Can't find any info about their fees except that it's "minimal." More likely reason bp left TT is that they couldn't meet the standards. They claim to exceed the standards but it's their own claim. Very possible they're interpreting the standards very loosely for their own benefit. They've been fined for misleading fuel claims before. The only thing that's certain is that without the TT certification, bp has the POTENTIAL to be worse than TT fuels.

It's confusing since they call it AMPM in the OP, that's ARCO, ARCO Gas stores are called AMPM.

Yes, ARCO is BP, and they list it as AMPM, which is ARCO's name for their stores (I don't think anyone calls them that, we all say "Arco" around here, but they're technically AMPM stores...
