Word of caution, this is by far the worst company I've dealt with. Transferred from T-Mobile using their last promo for $15/mo per line. Promo pricing never applied. Filed FCC complaint. Their customer service is completely useless. I will be porting out all of my lines at a first chance I get.

It's the same, it really depends on what you're looking for. With this deal, I think Total is better across the board, but they don't offer any watch plans if that's your thing. Overall, I say US Mobile is second then Visible.
Thank you

Could someone comment on the comparison between Xfinity Mobile to Total 5G Unlimited? Thanks.
There's no comparison, Total is a better deal unless you like paying taxes and fees, priority data capped at 30gb or 50 gb and hates Disney+.

Hello guys, I have a question, I am trying to port-in my number and the system asked for my current carrier account number but did not asked for the pin number on the same screen, then in another screen it asked for PIN but did not specify it needs to be from my current carrier, so my question is, is this PIN number the one from my current carrier or the one I want for total wireless?
UPDATE: It did not ask for my transfer PIN in the transfer web page maybe because I port-out from mint mobile.

Want to share a success story on port in and getting Disney+. I don't know if the network is stable or better than where I came from, which was US Mobile.

- bought the sim from Best Buy
- followed instructions online to activate - no contact with CS
- got Disney+ to work with my existing account immediately
- US Mobile was not on the list of wireless providers, I select "Other"
- port in took 3 minutes or so
- select auto pay during the process and was charged $30
- once phone is activated, I then continue to the next screen, which provided a button to activate Disney+
- after providing my existing email address on the Disney+ account, it was able to detect that I already have an account and took over the existing subscription
- I used Firefox private window for the whole process.

I bought the Base 5G Unlimited $20/month. I pre-paid $20 in the order, for 30 days, then after I activated, it shows I need to pay $40 due after 30 days. Customer service that that's because I have a portability this month, so the discount starts next month.

We had Total Wireless when we moved into Blount County, TN. The signal was weak, the data was super slow. After a year I ditched it for a carrier that worked.

FYI if you have a business or are self employed, you can get a premium Verizon Business plan for $15/mo/line for 2 years when you do autopay on a checking account and bring your own device. Full disclosure I work for them. I am not on the clock or paid to post this however. Just Google Verizon Business BYOD smartphone.
I wasn't able to reproduce $15/line. Sorry but only need 1 line. So Total 5G+ for $30 ftw!

I'm experiencing the same situation. I think the CS is wrong.

I am in the exact same boat. Prepaid $20 and activated but seeing $40 for next month. I chatted with CS and they told me it's because I didn't select AutoPay during activation and even if I setup autopay now it's too late and won't honor the promo. I smell BS but they wouldn't budge and just told me no way. Since I joined last month and it's almost up for renewal, unless there is a better option my current plan is to port out my number and sign up again and this time make sure to setup autopay during activation. A reasonable carrier to port out to is Tello which has a $5 minutes only plan, but there is also a $3 SIM fee even for esim, plus tax. Not ideal since it's extra cost to port out and back in, but I need to do this before Nov 11 or whatever the last day for this promo is (unless they extend it, like for BF).

To add to this.... make sure that you port out the main number on T-mobile last. If you don't, you'll run into serious issues porting the rest of them out after the fact. Best to leave the main one for last.
I had 2 line senior plan. One port out pin for both. They each ported out from tmobile into TW different dates
