This popped up this morning on my BCE card. Since this is a rewards app, this would be free money on top of free money, as far as I can tell.

This was a surprise to me, having found Pepper pretty recently and had a lot of luck using it especially for the frequent Amazon discounts....in the 12x range. Never had an issue buying Amazon and immediately adding to my Amazon balance in the next step thru the app. This is just icing with an Amex Offer. Really enjoying the app.

PROTIP: Amazon Fresh is an Amazon GC. When you see, Amazon Fresh 12x....go for it!
Downloaded the app, made an account, added my amex card, app asking me for US identity documents. Opened help menu and deleted my account. App gone!
Be careful, I recently signed up for Pepper and purchased Airbnb gift cards for a recent trip. Before the points deposited, I got an identity verification prompt in the app. I uploaded both my license and passport, and the verification process kept failing even though everything was valid. After 3 attempts, they locked my account. It's been weeks and no one is responding to messages or calls. I have over $200+ worth of points in there.

Edit:
No call or email back after 2 days. Cannot get a human on help line which goes straight tp voice mail or puts me on hold for 5 minutes and goes to voice mail.

Update:
They e-mailed me to let me know they credited the amount that was supposed to be on the gift card. The points were already credited making this equal to original transaction.

Could you let me know how long it took from when you sent the email for them to respond?

I've spent $34K with them over the past couple of months, but these 14-16x Amazon deals trigger server crashes on their end bc they sell too quickly.

On Monday, a purchase of 3 x $500 Amazon gift cards glitched to that black screen you saw.

I've tried to call no fewer than 200 times since Monday and keep getting the immediate voicemail or the 'let us find a rep' and then hold music for 5:30min before the same 'no agents are available' voicemail.

This happened once before and I got lucky that someone answered the phone after numerous attempts. They refunded one of the three cards and told me I'd likely get the bonus for all three regardless. She was right. You're saying you got the bonus points as well, despite the refund, right?

I got an email back about 60 hours from my first email resolving the issue. I tried numerous calls and emails. To clarify, I got the bonus points when I got the black screen. They then jist credited me after 60 hours the amazon credit to use for a card.

is this recurring? Been sitting on a few items in my Amazon shopping cart waiting for the offer to show up on Amex. Got like 300 offers "saved" between both BCE & BCP and it doesn't seem to be popping up. Deal may be expired.

Amex offers don't show up for everyone no matter how many cards you have sometimes.

I used to do that as well before I learned it doesn't matter. If you insist on doing it, at least save the ones that expire quickly so you don't have so many useless offers lurking around in you saved box which probably triggers amex to continue sending you even more bogus offers because it seems like you love them so much with all that "saving" activity going on. What I've seen mentioned is Amex will only show you 100 offers. So if you don't save offers they won't give you more until the current ones expire.

I more or less use one Amex card as my "good" card with only offers I care about saved. My other card receives almost all the same offers. On the other card I click all the offers there and it removes them from the list on both cards.

I actually made a MS PowerAutomate Desktop script to click the offers for me so I don't have to click them myself. I also made some auto click for Chase offers and Paypal offers.

I saw this on another thread, there is code in Github to add all cards using some simple javascript. I have not tried it myself, but others said it works great.

Yeah, I used the script the first time. Now, I can just manually add the new ones that pop up. But yeah, I think you're right about only the first 100. I sat at 100 for a while before I started saving all of them. I think I'll implement the same technique you mention with using one card as the "good" card. Thx, you guys!

I did not get 10,000 points with code '5OFF' on a new sign-up. Has anyone else had this problem?

I signed up with that code also but see absolutely no mention of it when I'm trying to do a purchase. I emailed their support about it a couple days ago but did not get any response.

For those of you using this app past the $15 bonus make sure you mind the points policy. You may want to make a minimum purchase of $1 or whatever is required to keep your points active.

I received this email on 11/13 from Pepper.

Quote :
We're reaching out with an important update to our points expiration policy.

Effective November 15, 2024, points expire if 60 days pass without a purchase. We encourage you to stay active to keep your points balance.

If you've already made a purchase, you'll enjoy a grace period — this policy change will not take effect for you until February 1, 2025.

If you have any questions, please reach out to our support team at [email protected] or call (888) 416-6161.

I signed up and before making purchase it is asking me to upload ID. Why do we need to upload ID for a rewards site ?
