Great Blower! I have had one for a few years, as a matter of fact I have a whole boat load their 80V tools, blower, chainsaw, weed-eater, pole saw, and even a little portable power station for use during storms and when the power when the power goes out. They all work great and have plenty of power, I haven't used any of my old Stihl 2 cycle tools in years they work so good. I also bought one of their 80volt self propelled mowers on a whim when it was on sale for about half price a couple years ago, I think I mowed about half a round in the yard with it and it worked great but its been sitting since as it cant replace my Hustler zero turn as I can just sit down on it and go to town on my one care yard with it which is a whole lot less work than following around a self propelled push mower! LOL! I noticed they now have a riding mower available also but I think I'll have to pass on that that one unless of course my zero turn crashes and I could pick one up on the super cheap I'd might be willing to try it out

Good to hear. I was literally talking about picking one of these up yesterday and I told my friend I was just going to add it to my slickdeals alerts and wait to see what happens.

I wonder where they found the stash of these. Was under the impression that the kobalt 80v line was discontinued and it's just greenworks going forward.

Best Buy has the Greenworks 730 cfm which I suspect was the next model after this one (Greenworks makes the Kobalt tools) for the same price, with 2.5 ah battery. The third and most modern model is 750 cfm with a metal ring around end of the air pipe, and I do not have that one. I agree these blowers are plenty powerful. There is one problem with all these 80v blowers.

They EAT the 2.5 ah batteries, but the bigger 4 ah batteries are going to make it pretty heavy, too much for my back. They are balanced quite well with the 2.5 ah battery. If you run it continuously with no pauses, doing it on a hot summer day it actually tirggered the thermal overload without being fully drained. I would NOT recharge the battery right after draining it with the blower, even if they don't trigger thermal shutdown they are still hot to the touch. Putting a hot lion battery straight into the charger in one way can damage your bettery. The Kobalt push mower version - first one Greenworks made, there's been several updated designs - has more running time than thie blowers, but a 4 ah battery works well on them.
