Disagree with you. Pretty much all the yard toolbrands come with a 4 or 5 year warranty on the batteries. Kobalt is made by greenworks so they aren't bad quality. I've had 40v kobalt batteries for over 6 years still working fine. I did buy a 40v 5ah battery from a roadside set up (that was a few years old by the manufacturer date but looked very lightly used so I took a risk bc the price and tool it came with + charger were with the price alone) and about a year later it lost 2 bars, so went from 5ah to 2.5 ah. The main thing with any tool battery is this. Keep them in tune house where it's 80 degrees.. Not 50/cold or 110/hot degrees like the garage , let them cool after use then charge them, when charged take them off the charger and put them in your hall closet to next use. If you're not going to use them for 2 or 3+ months (I. E. Over winter) charge them to 80% ish and store in the hall closet after 6 or 8 weeks (I halve the time stored so 3 months = 6 weeks 4 months = 8 weeks) go charge them for 15 minutes to bring them back up to 80% abc store them again. If you use a battery till it's dead and forget to charge it and try to charge it a month or 2 later it may have "died" and not have the ability to charge again until jump started so don't ever do that. I have 30+ tool batteries from different brands (kobalt ryobi ridgid greenworks) and only 2 times have I had an issue, one covered by warranty (ryobi 40v) and the other was the used kobalt above who knows what that battery went thru b4 I got it (might I've never been used for 3 years and just stored, or stored in the heat or left on the charger 100% of the time) so generally speaking battery quality and life span is up to how the user charges and stores the battery over time. Also I'm not sure about this one but if you fast charge your batteries there's a good chance their lifespan will be slightly shortened over time so I don't fast charge my batteries I only use the slow charger but I've heard/read it from various sites/people but a lot of brands come with fast Chargers these days.

I logged in with my rewards account but it doesn't take off $30 off in the cart. Am I missing something?
