I have one of these or something very similar. I forgot what I paid. I'm honestly not sure if this is a slick dead or not. But I will say that in a year or two I've gotten more than $40 worth of value out of mine. In fact I might get a second one for being able to have one long two-piece platform.

I paid $19 for this platform - 11/25/2016, which was a LONG time ago (I pulled the receipt because I couldn't remember, I just thought it was a lot less than $40). It's super useful. I need another. I'm holding out for a lower price but if it doesn't drop lower on the next sales, $40 is fine due to the functionality.

Looks like the last few sales prices per SD were $50-60... It hasn't been below $40 since 2021.

A super key item to have when painting your house or doing other tasks that require moving a step stool around. Hightly recommend for any DIYer. Thinking about buying a 2nd one. Thanks slickdeals.

Great bench. It is very hard to fold and unfold though but super sturdy.

the amount of cursing I did while doing ceiling trims on a stepladder in my home absolutely justifies this purchase

I got one of these a few years ago (I think it was $20 on an insane black friday deal). Its come in handy more times than I can count! It lets you get closer to the wall, so its perfect for painting, I use it as a work table, and I use it every time I wash my SUV, to get up to the roof. Overall, excellent tool. Only downside is shortly after I got it, one of the leg locks started "sticking", meaning that I have to double check that its locked, lest I step on it wrong or shift weight and cause it to collapse.

Yep, I got this same deal. There was a line of people at the Home Depot pickup desk. I remember walking out, and a guy walking in told me "You got the deal too? Nice!"
