Please DONT BUY THIS LADDER. I fell off this ladder twice due to the instability of the ladder. I've climbed hundreds of ladders and this one is un safe.
Thanks for the heads up. Just ordered.

What makes this ladder unstable, compared to other ladders? Leg distance?

This ladder is perfectly fine, have bought several over the years for different houses/parts of the house…they probably warn people not to buy coffee after burning their tongue too

EXTREMELY DANGEROUS PRODUCT!!! I bought three of these last year on a "good deal" and returned them all. The lock is on the top right behind the step. If your left foot overlaps the step by a bit and you step down with your right foot, the ladder can INSTANTLY snap shut, kick out to the side and send you face first into the ground before you can react. SERIOUS design flaw! I sprained both wrists and both forearms, just tore myself up. I had to go get xrays, which were fortunately negative, but I was on muscle relaxers and pain killers for days and was pretty useless for at least 3 weeks and felt pain for at least 6 weeks. Incredible the amount of damage you can take from falling just a few feet. I called and put in a complaint about these, but they are still selling them. This is a class action lawsuit ready to happen. Infinite negative starts here. Worst product I've ever bought in my entire life, no joke. Horrible horrible horrible. I can't express how much I don't want you to buy this. It's not worth the risk. Buy another step ladder that has a different type or location of the release... not a button right under your toe!

Fwiw, ansi + osha safety ratings are tested at 4x the advertised weight rating. So this ladder passed a 1,000 pound 90 second stress test without "buckling"... you good big guy

Got two of these last time it went on sale. Steps aren't deep and highest step is a little low. Little unsafe when carrying heavier items. I bought a Cosco 3 step wide ladder and it's my now go to. Lightweight sturdy and very balanced
