Assumptions (some of which may be inaccurate):
- You will have to keep the $20k in for about 4 months to get the bonus. I know they say 90 days, but they never start counting immediately or pay immediately, so I added a month:
- 4mos interest on $20k @ 3.9% = Apx $286.67
- $200 bonus = Total $486.67
- $486.67/$20000 = 2.433%
- 2.433%/4mos = 7.3% APY
The assumption that the base 4.3% will hold for four months is a dubious one.
