personally i prefer notebookcheck for cpu comparisons as they usually have a bunch of benchmarks and some written information, as well as nearby (in performance/family) cpus: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Ult...596.0.html

AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 (up to 5.0 GHz maximum boost clock, 24 MB L3 cache, 10 cores, 20 threads)
32 GB LPDDR5x-7500 MT/s (onboard)
1 TB PCIe Gen 4.0 NVMe M.2 Solid-State Drive
AMD Radeon Graphics (Supports AMD FreeSync Replay)
Windows 11 64 24H2
MediaTek Wi-Fi 7 MT7925 (2×2) + BT 5.4
9MP IR AI camera
Full-size, backlit keyboard
4-cell Li-ion Polymer Battery: 68 Whr
65 W USB Type-C power adapter
1.57 kg (3.47 lbs.)
Ports:
2x Thunderbolt 4 with USB Type-C (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort 2.1, HP Sleep and Charge)
1x USB 3.2 Gen 2.0 Type-A (HP Sleep and Charge)
1x Headphone/microphone combo port

Thoughts? Not an ultralight but seems like a OK deal for a decent IPS screen with 32 gb RAM

Looks like the ryzen is similar or slightly better than the ultra core. I will say that Linus tech tips did a laptop review with some of his staff a couple months ago and several people really liked the HP omni book

I was comparing to the Rog Zephrus G14 which appears to be the gold standard 14 inch laptop and also reading the reviews.. HP processor (slightly) and wifi (7 vs 6e) is better. Less ports and inferior screen in HP seem to be major negatives and in reviews too. Noisy fan, keyboard vibrates when sound is on, and not enough ports . Good price compared to where it was
The major weakness seems to be the ports. You seem to need a hub or docking station as there's not enough ports

Yeah and it's a $1K laptop.
I'll never purchase an HP again. Build quality is substandard !!

This has the newer GPU so better than before.

Not a top of the line gamer but will do most games at 1080 ok.

Seems like you're saying there aren't enough ports?
