You can get lifting shoes just for that, or you can get something like this Nike shoe if you want to be able to run and lift during the same workout.

if anyone owns FM 3/4/5, mid sole is now bit more mooshier. FM 6 reminds me of FM-1. seems like FM6 is more of a casual shoe.
personal note, starting 2-3 years ago. i notice nike's quality have gone down the drain. my metcon turbo started to come part. and is last pair of nikes i have purchased.
with that said, 63 bucks is okay price for okay shoes.

Nike always discounts colors over time and eventually models.
Also, compared to UB, I find the liner even smoother and has less stitching/seams. This makes for a more comfortable on-skin feel if you choose not to wear socks for example. If you do wear socks, there's less chance of chafing or pressure areas.
I've only worn my pair for a few months so I can't speak for long term durability but my outsole still looks meaty. No squeaks or odd noises to report of.

I've had 2 issues with the 6s tough, 2 pieces of the soles (the black kind of decorative elements) started coming off a month after I bought them (I'm about to apply shoe glue to them to see if they stay), and 2) after 10 months with them I feel they stretched slightly (I can only tell something is off when I do an exercise that applies sideways pressure on the sole).
I would definitely get the 6 again in the future. Despite their flaws, I love them and I abuse them everyday so theres that.
