My Son In Law chatted with Discover online via their chat customer service on their website and asked if he could get a lower APR and they gave him for 12 months for 0.00% APR.
This is perfect time for the holiday season and they even gave it to me as well!
He suggusted I told my other family members about it so I thought I would share it here too.
Good luck all and I hope everyone else gets it too! I am sure not all will be able to get it but worth the try!

I might have to give this a shot. We've used Discover for almost 30 years and pay off the whole thing every month.
The good thing about their benefits is they include a monthly credit score AND the reason for any monthly changes. Sounds like a fun experiment to borrow at zero and get paid 4% from Discover savings
Agreed, Discover is one of only a handful of companies I've never had a big issue with, for decades. Not sure how they do it, but wow. YMMV based on expectations, though -- acceptability still isn't up to Visa/MC levels, and the rewards are thorough but not easily "gamed" like so many cards on SD. They're just really consistent and it's easy to get a human being on the phone, usually in UT or AZ.
Side note: Nowadays almost all banks offer free monthly credit score either FICO or VantageScore. AMEX, BofA, Citi, Chase, Wells Fargo, Capital One...you name it.

Say for example if your comprehensive deductible on your insurance is max 1000 why do it out of pocket?
Probably to avoid hassles and lose the claim-free discounts that most plans offer. I know I'll pay out of pocket up to about double my deductible for that reason. But the larger point is that overcomplicated subassemblies/parts on cars are why insurance is so high. Traffic deaths (non-pedestrian) are hovering near all-time lows while insurance never stops going up.
Not saying we should go back to pre-airbags or whatever, just that a Volvo XC90 headlamp shouldn't approach $2,500 to replace. Each.
