prime visa is 5% , so that is $5 back on $150, not sure how you are calculating $7.5 for prime visa cc. this amex deal even at its sucky cash redemption ratio will still give more than 5%
"Earn 2,000 additional Membership Rewards® points after using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $400 in one or more purchases online at Amazon.com by 12/31/2024. Limit of 6,000 total Membership Rewards points."
You might have to add all offers to your card for it to pop up. I added 388 to mine. That's the only reason this one popped up. Probably not worth the effort.
Amex only displays about a maximum of 100 new offers.
I had to add quite a few before I saw mine. It's really not much effort if you use JS or some kind of automation.
In case it hasn't been mentioned:

5% means 0.05 lets see what calculated from this 150 x 0.05 = ???
Most likely yes based on past tiered offers since it says "one or more transactions" so they'll keep a running total of how much you spend at the retailer after you activate the offer -- they'll give 1200pts each time your running total hits $150/$300/$450 spend and if you hit it in full on a single purchase then you get full 3600pts to max it out
If it said "spend $150 or more in a single transaction" then you would have to do it separately but the risk is up to you -- if you can split it then do that just to play it safe otherwise if you have a big purchase to make anyways then go for it
If you're buying regular items then you can always reload your Amazon account GC balance $150 at a time and use that to make the purchase -- if you're buying something that needs CC payment like gift cards then just pay for it directly
Has anyone confirmed with buying $450+ in one transaction and received 3600 points? Thank you in advance for any answer.

The last "update" in the OP there should work.

AMEX. Log in to your account and look under Offers - search for Amazon.
Less than $12. It is not 100 points - $1 in Amex rewards. It will be about $8.
