Completely worth it. Installed in my XC40 with their hardwire kit so that I can get 24x7 recording without killing my battery. Love that the time/date actually stays set correctly via GPS. I'll be getting another for my wife's car.

looks like that bundle is roughly the same price with coupon if purchased separately. $120 camera + $30 hw kit +$20 lens = $170.

Connects to both accessory and direct power circuits in the fuse box. It monitors voltage and will cut it below a threshold. You can choose to record any motion while parked or only monitor significant impacts to vehicle. Former takes more power.

Some providers make a hard wire adapter that is time based - turns off after 24 hours. This, however, isn't designed to work with Rove's low-power parking mode options. Their optional hardwire kit is compatible.

It was the hardest part of the install. Finding the right fuses, getting to the fuse box. But after that no issues.

Yes was $103 in early October. You can't see it in the camels because they use coupons to discount the price. It's my first dashcam, didn't do a lot of research but I am happy with it and like that it came with everything you need to install including the plastic thingy to help hide the wire.

I paid $89 for certified refurbished (by manufacturer) with 1yr warranty off Amazon a few weeks ago. Price for new at the time was like $119. So not sure this is much of a deal. Haven't had a chance to try it out. Hopefully it's good.

Just an FYI best buy will install any 2 camera dash cam (front + back) with a hardwire kit for $99. You don't have to buy the dash cam from Best Buy.

Saw a youtube video where a similar 4k cam failed to record when car was involved in an accident. These companies should put these through some sort of crash simulation.

Depends on the car, not all makes is the same and simple. One wrong wire could damage the entire car circuit.
