Probably worse for you thank smoking a few packs of cigs.
Why's that?

Probably a specious uneducated claim you cannot and will not substantiate.
Because a claim like this is truly impossible to test. How would you test the health implications of consuming almost a pound of sugar with food coloring?

I actually think its quite possibly a valid claim, just I understand no one can back it up with anything. I do think large amounts of sugar is probably worse than smoking. There are people that regularly live to 80-100 years old that smoke a pack a day.

I don't think it's likely someone makes it anywhere near that age with consuming large amounts of refined sugar daily. Usually diabetes and obesity and heart disease associated with sugar is more of an early killer than lung cancer.

How many will really buy this in quantity to eat a pound a day consecutively? How about comparing doing that to smoking a carton (not a pack or two) daily, etc. Doing either will have disastrous effects.

Skittles are absolutely terrible for you from a carb per size perspective. A recent study stated that they are the worse food out there to consume.
