There's a reason these mustard are the cheapest variety. They don't taste as good as the others. The mustard sauce is sludgy in texture and the taste is unappealing in my opinion. I haven't quite figured out how to remove the mustard sauce without ruining them. Rinsing with water doesn't make them taste better. I may try a squirt of oil to dislodge it. Can't beat the price though.

I just scrap it off and add some avacado mayo to it. Then put the mashed up spread on some pork grinds, or eat plain.

Is this a prime member only deal. I don't see it. Maybe dead already. I may actually like it since I like mustard.

I'm actually okay with the mustard sauce, and I like that it's thick to cling to the sardines.

Sardines themselves are controversial. Mustard based sauces are controversial. So, it doesn't surprise me that only a small segment of the population would enjoy sardines with mustard sauce.

My favorite canned fish was herring with paprika sauce, but they have recently disappeared from my local retailers. Ate them once or twice a week as an easy lunch, so big loss for me.

There are dozens of us. I bought 4 cases of these on this deal (thanks OP, repped). I alternate mustard with hot sauce and never get tired of either. In fact, I look forward to eating them. There's a weird amount of snobbery around tinned fish.

I have them. They are good. The mustard is extremely mild and doesn't add much
