I am not 100% certain here, but I believe these two machines are the same SFP703CO (Costco) / SFP701 for the most part. However, Costco and/or other stores usually like to change the model slightly and add features to differentiate their offerings. In this case, I think the Costco model simply has an extra glass lid that other model's don't have.

Edit: So besides the glass lid, the Costco model looks like it also includes a ladle and spatula (based on what I see in the product images)

It's basically just a toaster oven with extra functions and a big panel to control them. IMO the weird units are the ones with the baskets with external handles you pull out, or top-open. This at least can be used under an upper cabinet without interfering with it.

I've been on the lookout for something a bit 'nicer' to upgrade the one I got 7+ years ago @ $20, and I think this fits the bill. Thanks OP

FYI, for those with birds: Ninja states the non Costco version (SFP701) is PTFE free. Hopefully Costco wouldn't request PTFE.

I keep looking for a replacement oven when my June oven ends up crapping the bed. Honestly the June oven is the best. Put food in, camera detects it, suggests a cooking time. Has a temp probe for precise cooking. So easy I could let elderly parents or young children use it. Sounds gimmicky but it's honestly the best product I have ever bought.

This just looks ok as a countertop oven.

Just FYI, this thing releases steam like nothing I've ever had, even more than my pressure cookers, it specifically says not to use under a cabinet. Mine even releases steam or superheated air when not in the steam modes.

ETA: Also, As someone who was gifted this oven, there's a really steep learning curve. I have only had it a little over a month but there are hardly any recipes anywhere for it. There's little to no instruction in the booklet it comes with for general use besides "guides" that you basically just have to guesstimate with. I don't mind this as I have just been creating my own recipes, but most of the reviews I have read even about the booklet recipes say that they aren't accurate. I would imagine after learning the power and time on standard things you can use it with more ease but the last month has been a lot of trial and error and overcooked meat, which has never happened to me in my life.

I've owned one of these for quite a while and would never purchase it again. For starters, you MUST use their pan as it presses a pressure sensitive switch on the bottom of the oven, otherwise it won't function. Mine continuously will turn off at random times with no warning. During a 10 minute cook time it may cook all 10, it may shut off at 3, it may shut off when you leave the room. It probably shouldn't be used under cabinets as the exhaust blasts steam, heat and smoke out the side vent. Already ruined some undercabinet lighting this way. When it works, it works well, but that's honestly not very often. Great looking oven, clever design, horrible execution. Waiting for a black friday deal on something equally as nice looking from another brand...

We have a combi. When I originally bought it we didn't use it much, then finally grasped the concept of it being a really good air fryer with option to do rice meals and broil/cook at the same time. Having the glass door and light is a good feature as well. We use ours daily now, it's our main air fryer/cooker. We sometimes use the ninja indoor grill as well.

Does anyone know why most air fryers and toaster ovens have non-stick coatings? I don't get it? I have an instant pot air fryer/oven and it doesn't, but they don't make it anymore. It's a really good oven, but I need a second one. If it is only the bottom removeable pan that is non-stick, that's okay as I can throw that away and use a steel one. This one appears to be non-stick.

Because people are lazy and/or don't have a lot of time to spare, so 'easy cleanup' is among the top selling points for anything related to cooking. That said, I'm not sure if this a ceramic enamel, but it's apparently not a teflon based nonstick..

Good thing this is @ Costco so you can return whenever if there are any intermittent problems like you described..

As for the vent... Luckily for me, I've got a spot where I can put it mostly under a cabinet but not block the vent on the right side.

it looks like it doesn't have a water tank. It's relying on the lower tray to hold water that helps generate steam
The steam part is easy to understand. The sous vide, not so much.

Typical sous vide machines have a heating element with a thermostat and, though not as important, a water circulator.

But since it doesn't look like there's a probe on this that comes in contact with the water, it's just relying on the ambient air temperature to regulate the heat.

Problem being, air and water conduct heat at different rates.

After extensive research and testing, this is the model we bought and kept... and we and absolutely LOVE it!!!!!!!!
It cooks a whole chicken or you can heat up a costco rotisserie from the fridge and it is crispy skin again and juicy on the inside.
We use it as an air fryer all the time, it is wonderful.
I was able to get rid of my rice cooker too, as it does a fantastic job cooking rice (my instant pot always burns it), so I had a separate rice cooker that is gone now!
You can cook WHOLE meals in it.
We absolutely LOVE IT!

found this on the best buy site posted by the Ninja community team:

yes. Why not put the control panel on the top part of the door ? there 's plenty of space and make it look nicer. Pass

Seems like an informed engineering choice, because it probably gets hotter up there (and possibly more subject to internal steam), which isn't great for sensitive electronics. I agree it looks kind of big/dorky & they could've made it a bit more sleek, but it does double as the handle to open it, too.

Does this cook 12-13" pizzas?
Apparently the pan dimensions are 12x12 so I guess just under 12"

Not sure there a huge overlap in the Venn diagram of people who take the time to clean sticky pans and people who would buy a combo like this.
