Price exactly the same as last year.
Probably the only thing that has stayed same price year over year!

Goodyear Reliant are surprisingly very good actually much better traction on wet roads when compared to my previous Michelin Defender 2 tires.

So these goodyear tires are only made for Walmart correct? For example, the Goodyear Assurance Outlast tires seem to be 50-60 dollars less than the same Goodyear Assurance tires from Bjs, Costco, Discount Tire with the same tread rating, mileage, etc? Why such a big price difference?

Also these won't be able to be price-matched anywhere because they are unique to Walmart, no?

Would a free trial to Walmart+ make me eligible for tire purchase tomorrow?

No. It's not free install. I believe it's $18 and $28 /tire for installation + road hazard
So would it be $18/tire installation + road hazard for both if you have Walmart+?

Is this brand sold at walmart only? I have heard trash talk about Goodyear Assurance and Reliant.
We had reliance on our new Chevy purchase, not premium but lasted us 60k.

Yes, Walmart may be a different blend of tire, somewhat like Walmart T.V.'s that are built to their price point. The T.V.'s use inferior parts from the same T.V sold elsewhere. Nothing lasts as long.

Yes, walmart specials.

You reach more customers at a lower price point. They're not much worse than a mid level Goodyear at Costco. Plus a really high volume purchase by walmart, etc.

What car uses that? My 1996 Honda Odessey uses 205/65R/15's and they are $57 seems like very good deal. I bought 2 last year, and think they were $52, but think had to pay for mounting.

Hi peeps and tire gurus. Unfortunately they don't offer my size in the goodyear reliants. I bought a set of kumho tires last week and supposed to have them installed on the 11th but I noticed on the 11th, they have cooper tires for only $3 more per tire. The kumho's don't state a treadware warranty but the cooper is 60k. I know not to put stock into treadware warranties but which ones do you think are a better deal? Many thanks as always... Turtle

I'm guessing you need a Walmart+ membership to even be able to see the deal? Any word on what the cost will be for 215/50R17 ?

$64 for the 205/70R15 on 11/11

That is a 215/70R15 but reading in the Honda forums it might actually fit without issue and provide a larger contact patch. Thanks!

The cheaper Douglas Touring A/S tires are going on sale later for cheaper than these Goodyear Reliants, if Walmart follows last year.Douglas is owned by Goodyear; the Douglas Touring A/S is a rebrand of the Kelly Edge A/S that has been around for a while (Kelly is also owned by Goodyear). Another Walmart exclusive and should be the bare minimum cheapest acceptable tire to buy - do not trust the ones from the Chinese companies produced in the majority of SE Asia.
How much cheaper will they be?
