I bought this last year for same price. When it works, the interface is fast and responsive. Rewinding, navigating, etc. is all very good. The app integration is also very good and I use the app as the remote more than the physical remote. Connecting headphones to your phone/app instead of the TV is also pretty handy. My biggest gripe is that the Roku freezes or restarts itself A LOT, especially with certain apps like Max (HBO). I haven't been able to solve this. My theory is that the unit is overheating or maxing out. I have to physically unplug the power to the box many times to restart it. I do think it's worth $34 and the experience is better than my Chromecast and Fire stick.
if I didn't already pick up 2 of the regular ultra's from QVC for $30 I'd be all over this. I got an LT last year from WM, It's the device that got me hooked on Roku. really works well.
what is main difference between the Ultra v Ultra LT? from what I searched the Ultra UT is a Walmart exclusive but reviews say the regular Ultra is superior in performance?
Both units have the same processor (and one superior to the 4k Sticks). The LT does not process Dolby Atmos but does pass it which is all 99% people need. The LT doesn't have the USB port and doesn't come with a rechargeable remote (but still a good remote).

Check in-store, sometimes you'll luck out! Also should come up again from Amazon probably bf or right after. Typically does.
Good thinking. It turns out it was the one store that was OOS but when I went to the store selector I could see several other stores where it was in stock and I was able to order one.

Have had mine set up now and running most of this week, and I can confirm that Atmos pass through support is working to my receiver. I had the 4k+ Roku, it was smaller, and there were lots of video slowdowns on some channels. This one is faster and hasn't had video issues. The smaller Roku would get hotter on 4k HDR stuff, and sometimes, I would get HDCP handshake issues. This Ultra LT has not had it so far. The only issue is that on Paramount + I can't get this to pass surround sound to my receiver. It only passes Stereo. Does anyone know how to get this device working with Paramount + and surround sound? My Samsung TV has Paramount +, and it does work. I just didn't want to switch back and forth just for this one streaming service.
We got this a year or two ago. The remote find button that's available on the standard version is great to have and worth the additional cost if you have kids that throw the remote wherever and don't put it back where you told them 200 times to put it so it doesn't get lost.
Strongly recommend not buying anything with this remote as there are issues with the rechargeable battery. My first one died after about 8 months and was replaced under warranty by Roku. The replacement died after 6 months and Roku refused to replace as it was now out of warranty.

I don't believe the LT has the rechargeable remote.
