For collecting, this is nice. But as a cube, they're horrible for playing with. I would recommend getting a speed cube without stickers.
I'm a collector and paid like $12 for this.
It is horrible as a cube (speed wise) but they nailed the nostalgia.
I own an 80s Rubik and this moves and looks (except for the gold color) exactly the same.
If you are a collector, $5 is a steal.

I had one when I was in college in the 80's and solved it. Took a month. Never tried a 2nd time but at least I can say that I did it.

When I was a kid I would do 5 turns on it and memorize how they were turned. Then at school I would take it out of my book back and fly through solving it, making everyone think I was a wiz-kid.

Learned how to solve a cube this past week- got a GoCube (Bluetooth connected cube) for like $15 on eBay. Super simple when you get the hang of it! (Beginner method that is, not going to bother learning all the algorithms for other methods and speed cubing. Just being able to solve it in under 2 minutes is enough of a skill for me).

You learned how to solve a cube from beginner to under 2 minutes in the past week? And not using any algorithms?

Color me impressed.

Just few algorithms used in the beginner method which is mainly just right hand/sexy move and left hand.

Read that CFOP is like 78 or 119 algorithms and that's the stuff I'm not going to bother with haha. I'm fine being a slow poke compared to that.
