Just bought this along with 3 sets of 45lb plates. All the weights were within 1-1.5% of each other (awesome), though about 1.5% lighter than stamped weight (not much concern to me) NOTE: you can cancel certain weight sets (35lb plates for example) prior to them shipping and get refunded for them while still getting the other weights at the bundle discount price.

Attempting the cancellation method to get the 45lb pair at $60 (66 cents a pound) but I cancelled within 5 minutes & it says "we can't guarantee we'll be able to cancel".

The other weights were 35lb for $52 (74 cents a pound) & the quad pairs for $67.

this is so helpful, I was able to cancel the 35s. $127.50 pre-tax for everything else. refund was processed right away - will update if the remaining items get cancelled

Thanks, i'd been waiting for a good deal. I was thinking about getting bumpers until research showed me that unless you get some really expensive sets the cheap sets will start tearing apart in a couple years, especially at the collar area.

Now i need to figure out what kind of bar and collars to get. My dedicated workout room isnt that big, like 10x10', maybe a 1 or 2 feet more, so hopefully the 60" bars will be enough.

I'll keep the whole set too. It'll be good to have some heavier plates to to mix and match to use on my plate dumbbells as there are certain exercises that cant be done with my adjustable powerblock dumbbells.

Am I the only one who doesn't pull the trigger on these because I feel bad for the delivery drivers? I wish I could pick them up

I believe it will come broken down in separate boxes (not a giant 245 pound box), and the driver will use a hand truck to deliver them. So no worries.

I ordered a bunch of these and I helped the driver out by carrying most of them myself. He had no intention of using a dolly and when I apologized for the massive order he jokingly said he's probably been lifting for longer than me and genuinely didn't seem to mind. Said he's used to it and lifts heavier things all day long.

BTW FedEx has a neat feature, similar to Amazon, where you can see exactly where the driver is so you have a better idea of when you can expect him to arrive. Even provides the driver's name if you're into creeping people out when you greet them by name

I got a pair of 45s and fell in love with them thanks to the handles. I've been slowly replacing all my 45s and 25s with these just because it's so much easier taking them on and off the weight horns and barbell. Bumpers are really only desirable if you're doing Olympic lifting and deadlifting on concrete a lot but it's a real pain taken bumper plates on and off your bar since there's no handle. I just have enough bumpers to max out my deadlift then use these iron plates with the handles for everything else inside my rack.
