This is true. I bought it the previous sale and was disappointed to see it wasn't made in America. I hope the the tape measures will last.

I ordered from the last deal for 2 tapes, and they were made in USA, identical to my others.

A few commenters said that about the last deal too; and I almost didn't order them; but they were wrong. I can confirm they were made in USA, standard Fat Max tapes. It's possible you are either regurgitating what others have said and didn't actually purchase the last deal or at some point they packaged a 2 pack Made in Taiwan tapes and you're misremembering the time frame in which you purchased them.

Maybe it depends on the store you bought from. I have purchased all of mine from these deals, and they never have the American flag on them. My boss buys the singles and his does. I go though about 1 per year. I order online and pick up in store same day.

I don't know why you got downvoted, I am happy with my Milwaukee ones I got recently, paid less than this though. Fatmax were too heavy and impractical for me.

the Milwaukee's are the same level of trash...
my second one is almost ready to get chucked, first one went earlier this year when the tape actually broke/tore... that was fun when it came back in and cut my hand up shake head
