I paid $39.65 for this same model on 11/27/22.
Considering how much the price of everything else has risen, the fact that they are $7.65 less 2 years later seems to be a pretty fair price.

All things being equal, I think I prefer my Howard Leight/Honeywell Impact Sports - especially with the pads swapped out for the Prohear Gel ones. The mics on the Impact Sports are a bit more directional making it easier to tell where a sound came from. (The Walker Quads are a bit better but still not as good as the Impact sports IMHO.)

With that said, if the price is not "equal" then these are nearly as good. During a typical day at the range, I maybe encounter an issue only once or twice where it even matters.

I still recommend the Prohear pads though…

Decent deal, especially if you don't care about color, just pick whatever is cheapest. These are also good for yard work. Having earpro on when using a lawnmower or gas leaf blower for a long day of yard work is essential and your ears will thank you.

I second that. Better NC / isolation and comfortable with the Prohear Gel.

I still picked up a pair as a spare if shooting with a tag along.

My kid and both have these and really like them. Do yourself a favor though. Pick up a set of the aftermarket gel pads, they significantly improve the comfort level of the muffs.

These are surprisingly good for the price. I like to use a pair of Mack's disposable plugs under these, especially indoors. It nearly eliminates any concussive effects and you can still hear clear as day.
I did notice the speaker in one of the cans is a lot louder than the other. Not sure if that's a defect or just what you get at this price point.

If you really want the best performance in regards to the microphones, the quads w Bluetooth are SO much better and worth the money. Otherwise these are great muffs for everything, including simple tasks like mowing the lawn, chainsaw, etc.
