I have a similar one from Hamilton Beach and it's our family's favorite blender for small quantities (such as dicing, mincing and blending) although we have several other powerful blenders and food processors like cuisinart etc. mainly due to it's ease of use, cleaning and smaller form factor.

Sure, but its going to be about the same quality(grind) as the ten dollar coffee grinders that use a blade. Just make sure you pulse it a lot, and even shake the whole machine in your hands as you pulse it.

This one probably is better for grinding coffee as you don't need a sharp blade as that will dull too soon.

omg, so many devices...
i've got a big blender, i use it for blending (smoothies mostly, but sometimes my own liquid salsa)
i've got a food processor (imho, a bigger version of this) i got free from a casino. i use it for making my own pico aka thick salsa
i had a bullet blender, loved it for the different cup sizes and I'd use it with the smallest cup to grind coffee beans to the size I wanted, thinking of picking up the one on sale (other deal today) for this purpose
i bought a coffee grinder a while back for a family member to use to chop up small spices aka making their own seasoning blends. It works fine for that, but i think the bullet would have been a smarter buy.
I guess what i'm getting at is, what can this do that a bullet can't? I feel like for $15 more I'd have a small bullet with a few different cup options that can do everything this does and more, but also easier to clean. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Please note the wattage is 150 Watt. The last one I purchased was 500 Watt because a lower wattage, in my opinion, doesn't meet my needs.

I bought this like 15 years ago for $4 on black Friday. It's perfect for my needs which is a family of 3 or sometimes 6. Garlic, onion, pulse grind some spices before blooming in oil, small amount of chunky salsa, etc. The list goes on.
