I don't have an opinion on the sale price of this, but I bought some cheaper 3rd party filters on Amazon early this year. It was like 3 filters for $30. They are really good. Winix is really over-charging for their filters.

Costco has the shark one that last for 5 years on sale right now. I hate replacing these stupid filters every 6 months lol

I ordered 3rd party filters before (trying to save $) but they are craps. I switched back to original HEPA filters from Winix (or even Sharp)
They are sure expensive.
Replacing HEPA filter every year, carbon filter every 3 months, I guess $30 a year that's not a big deal.

I have tried these. They are not the same as the OEM filters. it's a hit a miss, sometimes they trigger the filter work at high fan speed for no reason, which I suspect is because of debris/shit in these off brand filters.

We get these to purify air, not to generate new pollution. No more.
