Yup, easy trick.... just add user cards to your AMex anyone in your household or family and they will all be treated as an "individual "user" w/ separate offers, etc based on the separate SS# (keep in mind you are not running there credit at all, but that is how Amex treats these add on cards to your account as a "NEW" person for extra amex offers to be given to them!!) ..I have been doing this forever and have gotten some nice extra $$$ amex offers this way..
Ok, you now owe me a beer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will paying through paypal with the amex card trigger the credit? Would be nice to stack the 5% back on paypal.

I wish Amex gave extended warranties on electronics. I have to use Chase now since they provide an extra year of warranty, which may be worth the item over $250, such as a laptop or headphones (Sony or Boss, for example).

Some of their cards do include extended warranties, my blue business cash, simply cash business, Amazon business cash, cards have extended warranty, all have no annual fee

Yeah, many cards without an annual fee, but Amex removed that benefit after departing from Costco. I have to stop using Amex for electronics for that single reason (the extra year of warranty is pretty handy).
Check your American Express offers[americanexpress.com] if you plan on buying a TV or computer at Best Buy (or anything that adds up to $250), as some cards will offer a $25 credit back if you spend at least $250 online or in store by 12/27/2024.
I found this on both of our Amex Surpass cards. Terms say it can be spent in one or more purchases, so you don't even have to buy one big purchase to make this work, apparently. Make sure you click "add to card" in your Amex bonus offers before making the purchase, and pay with that card at Best Buy.
Exact terms:
"Earn a one-time $25 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $250 in one or more purchases in-store at Best Buy® or online at BestBuy.com® by 12/27/2024."
It also says: "Limit of 1 statement credit per eligible Card Member account," so I'm assuming that since my card is added under my husband's Amex account, we can't both use the offer. But I've added it to both cards anyway, so that I can use either card if we end up buying a new tv from Best Buy this year.
Didi it work with free version or only work with Cardpoints + app that cost $72 per year? From what I see online, free version only track one card of each type.

We got a life time offer for 99 and that's what I have so can't really say about the free or trial version
Excludes Best Buy Outlet store locations, Best Buy Business, Best Buy Education, Geek Squad services not purchased through Best Buy, a Best Buy Marketplace store at a third-party website, standalone Pacific Sales stores, standalone Yardbird stores, and gift cards.
