This was $114.99 last November 18 through black friday so this year's $128.99 may be the lowest we'll get.

SanDisk.com has a deal through 11/20 where you can buy two and save 15%. So you can get two SN850x 2TB no heatsink for 220.98 (before taxes) or two SN850x 2TB w/ heatsink for 229.48 (before taxes). Looks like they take PayPal, so if you have a Chase Freedom card you can get 5% back as well. Here's a link to the 2TB without heatsink: https://shop.sandisk.com/products...X0E-00BCA0

The reviews on Amazon are pretty good. You can find people who use it in the PS5. I'd say yes.

Does this version had DRAM ?
I mean to refer that the Nextorage mentioned does not have DRAM. The SN850x certainly does

Needs to be PCI-E 4.0 which this is. Heat sink recommend, not sure how hot the SN850x runs but it's an enclosed space in the PS5. I have a Sabrent heat sink/cover specifically designed for PS5

Are there any good deals out there for PS5 models with heat sink?

Nextorage 2TB designed for PS5 with heatsink, but DRAM-less and slower than the SN850x

imho the SN850x is overkill for PS5, its high specs would be beneficial in a mid to high end PC

Nextorage 2TB w heatsink DRAMLess $110 is good enough, unless you plan on maybe swapping the drive to a PC later

I would recommend the DRAM version for $130 few months ago but don't have a Time Machine

Nextorage started out as a partnership between Phison and Sony, to make drives for the PS5. It ended up being taken over completely by Phison. Phison is one of the major controller manufacturers. They also manufacture many of the SSDs that those big brands stick their labels on.

Has DRAM

Not bad for something that can't use HMB for dram-less like external for MacOS
How do we tell if it has drama or not?
This comes up everyone a nmve drive is listed, but I'm literally searching the specs and none have mention of dram
Sorry for the newb question
