This monitor itself is fairly old, you'll def want to use the DP to hit high refresh rates, pretty solid limiting factor with 2 hdmi ports on this. Monitor is really nice, no calibration needed out of box one of the best looking monitors I've ever seen stock.
Ultimately I returned it early because you do have extended return for this purchase. I would have loved for this to have a usb-c just reduce it down to that for work/personal laptop and hardwired and not use a hub. Waiting for a solid deal on a lg 38wn95c-w to replace my current setup and remove the hub
