In for 1 27,650mAh with base to add to my collection of Anker power banks. Can anyone else relate to the urge to regularly buy these? There needs to be a support group. I've only used my C300 once and haven't even opened my 200w and 250w charging stations. The 10k and 20k mAh zolos get used daily though. Ugh.
Thanks. I misread the post. I was reading the first item under "also available." I think the 20mah 200w model is $79.99 on Costco next with the base version only $30 more at $109.99.
This charger is awesome. Nothing else that is airline safe would charge the CEO at my company's Lenovo X1 Extreme laptop but this, and he frequently flies all over the planet. And it only takes 60 minutes to recharge with the base. It charged his laptop 60% in about 40 minutes. Dual usb-c charging. Impressive. Love it.
Note that for the 27650 mAh battery bank (at least, but I bet all of the related units have the exact same behavior), do not trust that just because it says it is at 100% that the battery bank is fully charged. During the first two charges (I've only cycled it twice so far) I found that it continues to charge beyond 100% with absolutely no indication on the unit itself that it is still charging. I suggest leaving it plugged in for at least a few hours (or even better, overnight) after it says it is 100% at least the first few times you charge it so that it can properly calibrate itself.
With the current firmware it is impossible to determine, just from the unit's display, if it truly has finished charging. Instead, you can use pretty much any USB power monitor to keep track of the charging behavior. I've reported the behavior to Anker, but who know when, or even if, they will update the firmware to change the behavior.
Can anyone explain it like I'm 5 why anyone would choose the OP's deal over the deal in this comment?
These are VASTLY different - I have both.
The C300 is lantern sized and great for small/short power outages. I use it for my kid when we lose power since it has a charger and a lantern. It's not really something you'd want to travel with, but it's nice to have around the house. That being said, my larger power stations are better value price per watt hour.
The OP battery is targeted at an on-the-go battery that can charge a few devices and is small enough to fit in a backpack or sling bag. The base allows you to charge it and other devices. It's not going to power devices as long as the C300 but easily will be good for a day.
I have both, they're very different use cases.
The battery & base the OP posted is probably my favorite larger-sized battery at the moment. Highly recommended.

Just curious what you guys use these for, the situations... I live in a small city so my power will flash but never go off. Hasn't in 20 years of being where I am
the base actually is the game changer for the battery. definitely first world problems but not having to plug in the battery itself into something and instead slapping it on top makes this thing so usable at any given time.
My had bad experience with the base, it won't charge the power bank if it's depleted. I have to plug it in using usb-c with a different charger to reset the power banks(I had two bases n 2 power banks, both bases have the same problem. The base is quite useless imo

Notebooks, flashlights, backpacks, etc
It's not the item itself but the potential you see if you have them
What are you going to charge, what are you going to write, what are you going to see
