Pasting this here. A comment from a similar amazon basic shelf deal.

Side by side the amazon shelf is inferior. 1" pole vs 3/4". NSF cert vs not. Plastic collars on the amazon shelf do not snap together. I had the amazon one and returned it. It may work as intended but there are better options out there.

This reviewer almost gets it. The plastic collars are terribly designed. They do not snap together. I've built many wire shelves and all of their plastic collars snapped together.

I'm usually trolling but I'm serious about this. Stay away from these shelves.

Yep - I would 100% vouch here. Ordered a different size and it was unuasable. Packed up it up and received the refund, but certainly some wasted time/hassle.

I put mine together today and it went fine. The plastic pieces you clip around the poles so the shelves stay where you want them to didn't fit around the pole entirely. It appears to be normal and I don't think it can affect the stability of it.

Only thing to note is that if you plan to use the wall anchors, well, the ones they give you are terrible. Hopefully you have your own cause you'll probably need them

Are there just 4 poles so you can make the shelves any height you want or are the poles in smaller sections so the level options are limited?
