I believe approximately 2 weeks ago I was looking at this board as it was on sale for $100, however I believe when other B550 deals were coming up Best Buy lowered it on sale to $89. Could not find anything online about this board having major issues except for maybe just taking sure the bios is updated.
Doesn't look like any more B550 motherboard/memory/SSD combos are going to be announced for Black Friday but would be great to get everything but the processor on sale.
How does this motherboard compare with ASRock B550M PRO4 Motherboard - The deal currently ongoing with 5700x combo from Newegg
AMD Ryzen 5700X + 32GB G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series Ram + ASRock B550M Pro SE Mobo $200 & More + Free Shipping
The problem I see with Asrock B550M Pro 4 is that it does not have Wifi
Thanks

this asus is better than the ASRock B550M PRO4 .
form factor is full atx vs micro atx (could be a con if you want/have small case)
a minor pro and related to 1. has a lot more (5 vs 3) pcie slots, full size one at that instead of the small shorter ones.
2nd m.2 is pcie 3.0 x4 vs pcie 3.0 x2 on the ASROCK. meaning twice the bandwidth (4000MB/s vs 2000MB/s) for your 2nd nvme drive.
no wifi but does have dedicated slot for a wifi card although no antenae ports except for 2 holes to run wires (also quite awkwardly positioned all the way at the top when the slot is lower than the m.2 and main pcie).
1 pro for the ASROCK that it has 1 ssd heatsink while the ASUS does not.
biggest difference from asrock pro se vs pro4 is the 2.5Gbps lan and wifi slot or lack thereof.
there might be some other differences, in ARGB/fan headers for example, that I didn't mention but personally i'd skip the asrock pro4 except for a minimal and basic build. but even then the wifi thing is still a bother. might consider asrock pro se if 2.5 lan is useful but still for a smaller build.
