I know it's silly but 60 hz….
You're right, it is silly. Few people need anything over 60Hz. Film content is 24Hz.
I recently purchased a 75-inch TV for my living room. However, I've encountered some thermal issues with this specific model. Initially, the TV looked fantastic when used with the color booster and film maker mode. However, after a few weeks, I began to notice backlight bleeding at the power cable area of the screen.

I contacted Samsung, and a technician arrived at my home with a new TV panel. The technician informed me that this issue is common with these model types. And this new panel "might" perform better. While I understand that backlight bleeding at the edges is acceptable, having spots in the center of the screen is quite distracting when watching moving scenes with dark backgrounds.

I consider this a waste of money because I can't return it and buy something I won't regret.

Again - It might be specific to 75 inch models YMMV.

I was able to order after id.me verification. Samsung even offered a trade in $50 with haul away and recycle. Final price came to be $291.5 + taxes including referral and new account

My son has the 55" tv and likes it. He streams XBox Live on it and it works well.

Including referral? Did you get an additional discount somehow?

You have to login and use the EPP discount.
At the bottom of the screen it shows that you can also get $50 off of your first purchase on the app if you spend over $500.

Just not really great for high end tv not to support for games.
