I like frank. ALDI has a house brand that is just as good to me.

If I recall, this is cheaper because it's using a plastic bottle vs glass. I didn't realize that until it got here, and tbh it's not worth the price difference of the normal bottle imo.

The only people who buys this are people who know absolutely nothing about real pepper sauce. This is vinegar w/ food coloring.

Eh, unnecessary gatekeeping. I like real pepper sauce and have many bottles of better stuff. But sometimes this stuff hits the spot.

Just like having lots of delicious cheeses but wanting some craptastic delicious processed American for your grilled cheese sandwich.

Frank's is the de facto buffalo sauce that most restaurants use as a base. That said, if your making chicken wings you will end up using half this bottle every time. Better off getting the big bottle.

Anybody that knows anything about "real pepper sauce" ALSO knows enough about Frank's to know there's no food coloring in it. Criticize the flavor, the heat, the cheap plastic bottle, but don't just make things up. Frank's is fine, and good enough for 99% of people.

I like a good quality hot sauce just as much as the next dude, but Frank's and butter is the original Buffalo Wing sauce.

I heard this same criticism of Texas Pete (which I haven't tasted, so I'm not defending). What do "superior" sauces have that these don't? Does this criticism apply to Tabasco sauce?
