Interesting. I do mint mobile's $15/month plan (meaning I paid a year in advance) for 5GB of high speed data, but it's rare for me to use more than 2.5GB of data in a month, thanks to wifi calling and network access at home, work, and a lot of stores. I'll have to think about it, thanks for the post.

From Google, it is T-Mobile network. Pls let me know if it was wrong.

Any user has experience in Ultra mobile? Would it be deprioritize so bad like Mint? I am using Mint now, and half of the time is slow as hell in my area.

I believe Ultra is Mint Mobile sister company, does this also mean expect additional outrageous fees?

I'm disappointed with black friday pre-paid deals so far. I need 5GB for under $15/mo, and will pay for a year if I find it. Redpocket used to do this but they don't have 5GB plan anymore. Probably going to Tello.

I've used them in the past and noticed no real deprioritization. Most of my phone usage is for Waze, Pandora, email, the occasional hotspot, and/or a YouTube video...nothing crazy. They do use T-Mobile's network.

T-Mobile owns them, so... As long as you have a 5gb phone, you should be able to burn through your 3gb with a handful of speedtests.

Infimobile has 6 months for $57 on Amazon. It worked great for me but it's a brand new company and I would be reluctant to port and number you really care about over there. Also no RCS support and you have to pay extra for hotspot but it's the cheapest way I could get 10 GB of Verizon a month for the equivalent of like nine bucks a month. They also have 3-month ones that cost like $27 after the use the coupon or you can get 500 GB for 6 months at $18 but that's really pushing it. That's good for people that just need phone calls only or are always on.

Anyway if it's a number you really care about then you probably want to look at total or visible or something or US Mobile when they have the Verizon SIM.

But if it's not a number you care about I think it's worth taking a shot under the rear 6-month plan from infamobile. Actually got the 5 GB plan when it was discounted for 20 bucks for 6 months and it worked perfectly for me.

After the 6 months were up I bought a 3-month plan with a new number and the SIM didn't work but they replaced it right away and refunded me so I ended up getting 3 months for free

It seems like $10/mo ($30/3mo) does not include ~$2.47 additional charges (such as recovery fee, other government fee).
Then this is only introductory price. After that it becomes regular price (starting at $16/mo).
No deal for me. I use US Mobile and pay $10/mo for 2GB. No issue for over two years (I don't use much data).

Thanks for the recommendation. If you go the Infimobile website, they're offering a 12month plan, 10GB per month, unlimited talk and text and free SIM card or eSIM for $116 all in including taxes. I'm using it for my backup phone and figure it's worth a try. Switching over from US Mobile.

Used Ultra Mobile to get a cheap T Mo line for porting a few months ago. That's about all they are really good for. Their website is horrible. Hardly ever works. Customer service also bad.
