Are they not really enforcing the 2-phone limit or did you have/create 3 different accounts?
Single account, actually I didn't even had to login or the creds were cached, different email addresses, $330 each

Apologies if this is a bit much to ask, but could someone please share step-by-step instructions for:
  • Getting this phone for $330 with a new phone number (so I don't need to port my existing number to Mint Mobile)?
  • Unlocking the new Mint phone so I can use it with another carrier?
Thank you so much for your help!

Ugh I've just ported out of Mint and this deal showed up, how long do I have to be out of Mint to be considered a new member? thanks.

edit: just live chatted with Mint CS and was told there is no "black out period" after porting out of Mint for less than a month, and is able to take advantage of this deal and port back into Mint. Seems to be conflicting info after some searching SD. Can anyone comment on this? thank you.

Steps I used however others may have done differently:

1.) Purchased 3 month for $30 plan here https://www.mintmobile.com/plans and chose eSIM delivery option. Loaded eSIM to my current phone and created account with mint app

2.) Purchased Pixel for $299 from the link from this thread https://www.mintmobile.com/device...9/6810275/

**I had myself logged in my account on the mint website on one tab and opened this link in a separate tab to show the $299 price without adding another plan

3.) After phone received I transferred eSIM to the Pixel (probably not necessary). I chatted with Mint customer service last night advising I need phone unlocked for international trip next week and they provided a case number for the request. Received unlock notification on the phone as well as via text from them about a hour and a half later

Can anyone tell me if I buy this deal, how long until I can be considered a current customer and grab a second phone for $300? Can I activate right away if I elect for eSim, or do I have to wait for the phone to arrive? Thanks in advance.
As soon as you get loggin info and sign into your tmobil account you can order. I got 5 gb plan and purchased 2 phones in less than 45 minutes.

Thank you so much for this! I was able to follow these instructions. One thing to note:

In step 1, I activated my 3 month plan and was able to create an account password in the next step. I then proceeded to your step 2 without installing the eSIM (since my old phone does not have eSIM compatibility) and I was able to place the order for the phone for $299+tax.

I hope they don't cancel my order. I'll report back about the unlock after I get the phone and chat with customer service. Thanks again for your help, sir!

Up to step 2 worked for me this morning. Now I hope the phones arrive quickly, as I need them unlocked by next Tuesday. Anyone from AZ or around this region want to comment on how long it took them to receive the phone?

One thing to note, I was having an issue with the Pixel wanting me to add a plan even though I was activated and logged in. Turned out my ad blocker was interfering. As soon as I turned it off, got the ability to buy just the phone with no plan.

well...
my timeline.

already had mint and been a user for 5 years so just ordered it. got the phone.
moved esim over and activated (not sure this was necessary). moved esim back to my other phone as I plan to use pixel 9 with a non mint sim for my work phone (have at&t for this)

went on the chat and asked for an unlock for my christmas overseas trip.
very nice CSR took my imei and order numbers.
took about 20 hours, but got the unlock
just tried at&t sim, works

I chatted with mint. They asked for my account email. In same convo they said my phones were unlocked. How do i see if the phone is still locked without dropping in a sim?

A notification will appear on the phone saying carrier locked has been removed.

The OEM unlocking in developer mode will be clickable from greyed out.

You can go to a site like https://imei.org/, put in the imei from your phone which is also printed on the box, and it'll report the carrier locked status.
