The apple pencil 2 is also on sale for $79 at both Walmart and Amazon. I picked one up for $60 from amazon resale. Thanks for the heads up op.

It's inconvenient to use the adapter for charging. I'd rather spent the extra $10 hours in get the USB-C version.
