You're paying tax on the full value of the phone ($449), so it's $99 after a trade in, but taxed as if it's full price.
Mine jumped from $99 to $143.99 (CA Tax)

Not sure if this is a good deal or not but picked it after getting sick of their site not working.
My trade-in was received by Hyla on 11/22 at 10am but no update so far.
Same situation with the earphone trade-in.
But like others said... record everything. I take everything to FedEx and while there record turning on and off the phone, all sides of the device, packing and taping up the box, and handing it to the FedEx employee. I got burned once and trying to prove it wasn't you is frustrating because they just deny it and you can't even get the device back.

Does anyone think Samsung will reject this phone as a trade in because the boot up screen has the "bootloader unlocked" screen?

I did some testing and the CPU on the S21 is definitely better, but the GPU is a fair bit weaker. For general use I imagine the S21 feels pretty much the same. For trading into T-Mobile though it's waaaay better than the 6a though, since it's in their top tier of trade models, whereas the 6a gets lumped in the lower tier with older phones and `budget' phones. =(
That is assuming that the trade-in goes through ok. The trade-in was delivered yesterday, but no word yet on what's going on. Considering that it's $350 it would REALLY suck if it's rejected for some reason!
