This is a pretty good deal from Verizon. This offer expires on 12/2. > QA note: Offer extended

https://www.verizonwireless.com

Get up to 4 iPhone 16 Pro 128Gb free via bill credits over 36 months after trading in any Apple, Google, or Samsung phone with any new myPlan Unlimited line. This includes the cheapest and lowest tier Unlimited Welcome. For 4 lines it works out to be $120+taxes and fees with a debit card autopay.

Terms: "$999.99 (128 GB only) purchase w/new smartphone line on Unlimited Ultimate, postpaid Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Welcome plan (min. $65/mo w/Auto Pay (+taxes/fees) for 36 mos) req'd per phone. Less $1,000 trade-in/promo credit applied over 36 mos. per phone; promo credit ends if eligibility req's are no longer met; 0% APR. Trade-in must be from Apple, Google or Samsung; trade-in terms apply. Apple Intelligence is available with Siri and device language set to U.S. English. Some features and languages will be coming over the next year."

In addition you can recieve a $300 Verizon gift card that will appear as a popup during checkout.

Terms: "Get a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card on us, when you complete the smartphone purchase from your cart. You'll be able to redeem a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card in My Verizon or vzw.com/myverizon after placing your order. You must submit for redemption within 60 days of order. Your reward will be sent via email within 8 weeks after receipt and validation of claim to the submitted email address. If service is canceled or device is returned, claim will be invalid. We reserve the right to charge the amount of the Verizon e-Gift Card to your Verizon Wireless account if, within 12 months, service is canceled, price plan changes from an eligible unlimited plan, or the line is connected to a device payment plan regardless of whether the new device is activated. A suspension without billing will add the time you are suspended to your 12 month chargeback window. Add'l terms apply."

Verizon devices auto unlock after 60 days.

Due to repeated questions in the thread here are additional details.

The $300 Verizon GC offer is tied to purchasing a smartphone online. You are eligible to claim this offer for every order transaction regardless if you are placing an order for 1 phone/line or 10 phones/lines.

The $200 Verizon GC offer folks have been receiving via sales chat/phone is a switch promotion. I am not able to find the terms for this offer but in the past this has been an available offer which requires you to port in from a non Verizon carrier that includes the various Verizon prepaids and MNVOs.

To my knowledge these Verizon GC offers have 12 month service terms or you will be charged back "claw back"

There are currently 2 separate iPhone 16 offers.
- the offer in this post which involves the trade in of any Apple, Google, and Samsung device for $1000 in bill credits with new lines
- no trade in required to receive $1000/$820/$640 in bill credits with new lines for the Ultimate/Plus/Welcome plans respectively

When you add the phone to the cart you must choose the right offer otherwise you will not go through the workflow with the step to add a trade in.

In addition if you enter a non Apple, Google, or Samsung device during the trade in you will receive the actual value of the device, including $0 if its older to be recycled, AND you'll be defaulted to the non trade in promotion.

This is the reason at checkout some people are seeing $10/month or $5/month because they've selected the Welcome or Plus plan respectively and the non trade in offer has been applied.

There have also been a lot of "can I trade in XXX phone?".
The terms state you can trade in ANY Apple, Google, or Samsung phone in any condition. In my experience the any condition is intentionally meant to covered cracked screens and aesthetic damages. The device should turn on and function well enough that the IMEI can be retrieved and have no swelling/damaged battery (for safe handling reasons). Regarding any phone from the 3 manufacturers the process is constrained by the system and the list of devices/imei in its database. Be reasonable and don't expect extremely obscure or foreign region only devices to come up.

You can determine for yourself if a device qualifies for the $1000 by going through the online order process. You will need to enter the IMEI so you must have the device in hand. If you are not getting the $1000 value then you likely have not selected the right offer when adding the phone to the cart or your device is too obscure. I've attached screenshots of 2 devices that have been inquired about (A03 and 5c) showing the $1000 trade in amount.

In addition, I only get 3 $200 rebates, an agent told me it is probably missing because the 4th line was added at a later time due to the shipment delay. I was asked to check again next week.

I seriously could not recommend this deal to anyone because of all the issues I have experienced so far. Stay alarmed!

Since no one pays for long distance anymore, you can always switch your area code to a state with lower wireless taxes. This lists Idaho, Montana and Nevada as the lowest states.

That means a new phone number. Also, are taxes calculated based on phone number area code or billing address?

On billing address, nothing to do with area code of the phone number.

If the phone shows in your iCloud account and you happen to know the IMEI then it is possible. They will have you login to your account and they will have you remove find my iPhone and you will be set to go. As a policy they want to make sure that Find my IPhone is off. I recommend going to the store and doing it there. Once iPhone is removed from your apple account, you won't be able to do anything.

If your phones came in separate shipments, then they will send you the rebate link after it has been added to your account. Also, if they have already billed you the monthly bill it may also show 2 lines as well. CSR should be able to help. On this promotion more than 4 lines can be added. I think the limit is 10. Just be polite with the rep as they are overwhelmed too.

just checked my first bill which does not include the autopay discounts, the bill was generated the day after I made the purchase so there was very little time to set it up to get the discounts for the first month. And even if you setup it up before the bill is generated, it could still take 1 or 2 billing cycles to settle in. I am complaining this to customer service but they are not willing to make any adjustments. So expect to pay $40 extra for the first one or two months.🫠
They issue the first bill as soon as they ship the phones. You probably hadn't received your phones yet. You may setup your auto-pay and then call the CSR and explain. They should credit you for the auto-pay for the number of lines shown on your bill. It is advanced billing, meaning this bill will take you from the day of delivery to the next month. If you don't get a knowledgeable rep try again. Usually takes a couple of billing cycles before things get sorted out.

Hello,Is there any Verizon rep in here or how can I get this issue fixed.I placed my order via chat with the following deal.5 unlimited welcome plan ($27/line/month) 5 iPhone 16 Pro Max for $5 extra/line/month)The rep ask for ZIP code to calculate all the number after tax.The issue is I don't have all my IMEI number at the time of the order. The rep said he will put the note in my order, when I have all my IMEI number just contact them back to process the trade in to get the $1000 trade in credit.I know received my phone and have all my trade in IMEI. But when contact them, they transfer and transfer around and said that there was no promotion for the iPhone 16 Pro Max and I already got the promotion on my account and can't process it.The thing is with Verizon chat, when you click the link they provided, you will be disconnect with the rep, you also can't select the text to copy or save/sent the chat transcript. So I don't have anything that the rep told me.I haven't unbox any phone yet and have not using them in anyway. Is there any way, any dept that can help me fix this issue?Thank you,
Do not open the box until you straighten this out. You may end up redoing the order with the IMEI's as they won't normally accept any afterwards. Even if the IMEI's that you provided do not match with the ones that you turn in, they can still deny the trade-in credit. $300 switchers rebate and the trade-in are still valid. and the $300 rebate is for as many lines as you move over. The online $300 GC card offer is gone though. But they can still offer you free activation.

I actually spoke to two different agents in a 2-3 hour window, both wouldn't' budge and said the first month bill is correct and customers have to wait 1-2 months for the discount to appear. They didn't issue any credit for the missing autopay discounts in the first month. Honestly it is not worth the time and frustration to fight for $40 at this point.

Yes sorry you need to enroll in paperless and switch your address to a random one in that state. It was my understanding to crack down on this they would require your area code to be from that state but I'm not sure how that would be possible.

Yes. Normal for VZW to take a month or two to settle.

I'm already regretting placing an order. The phones have been delivered but not opened.
How do I minimize my loses?
Do I call them to cancel the whole thing and return the devices?
What I will be responsible for when all is settled? Activation fee per line plus prorated service charges?

I believe they offer a 30 day return policy. I'd call sales first, early in the day so you get a US rep and a short hold time. They probably won't be able to process the return, but they can tell you what to expect (they're usually quick to transfer you to customer service, so explain why you want to talk to them first). Their (offshore, contracted) customer service seems to know almost nothing.
