Due to repeated questions in the thread here are additional details.
The $300 Verizon GC offer is tied to purchasing a smartphone online. You are eligible to claim this offer for every order transaction regardless if you are placing an order for 1 phone/line or 10 phones/lines.
The $200 Verizon GC offer folks have been receiving via sales chat/phone is a switch promotion. I am not able to find the terms for this offer but in the past this has been an available offer which requires you to port in from a non Verizon carrier that includes the various Verizon prepaids and MNVOs.
To my knowledge these Verizon GC offers have 12 month service terms or you will be charged back "claw back"
There are currently 2 separate iPhone 16 offers.
- the offer in this post which involves the trade in of any Apple, Google, and Samsung device for $1000 in bill credits with new lines
- no trade in required to receive $1000/$820/$640 in bill credits with new lines for the Ultimate/Plus/Welcome plans respectively
When you add the phone to the cart you must choose the right offer otherwise you will not go through the workflow with the step to add a trade in.
In addition if you enter a non Apple, Google, or Samsung device during the trade in you will receive the actual value of the device, including $0 if its older to be recycled,
AND you'll be defaulted to the non trade in promotion.
This is the reason at checkout some people are seeing $10/month or $5/month because they've selected the Welcome or Plus plan respectively and the non trade in offer has been applied.
There have also been a lot of "can I trade in XXX phone?".
The terms state you can trade in ANY Apple, Google, or Samsung phone in any condition. In my experience the any condition is intentionally meant to covered cracked screens and aesthetic damages. The device should turn on and function well enough that the IMEI can be retrieved and have no swelling/damaged battery (for safe handling reasons). Regarding any phone from the 3 manufacturers the process is constrained by the system and the list of devices/imei in its database. Be reasonable and don't expect extremely obscure or foreign region only devices to come up.
You can determine for yourself if a device qualifies for the $1000 by going through the online order process. You will need to enter the IMEI so you must have the device in hand. If you are not getting the $1000 value then you likely have not selected the right offer when adding the phone to the cart or your device is too obscure. I've attached screenshots of 2 devices that have been inquired about (A03 and 5c) showing the $1000 trade in amount.

I did this with a similar deal last year which I should not have done. At that time, you needed the most expensive plan to qualify for $1,000 in trade credits.
Luckily for you guys, this deal does not require that.
$1,000 in 36 months of bill credits
I went to a local corporate store. Some reps don't like accepting them because they don't gain anything out of this. Was the store busy when you went? try to go when it's not as busy.
It should be less than 5 minutes for them to process a trade in.

Available in select locations only; not available online. Receive a $200 Verizon eGift Card with Unlimited Ultimate or Plus plan when you port in and activate a select new $799.99 or more smartphone to a postpaid Verizon consumer account with a qualifying Unlimited plan required between 11.7.24 and 12.19.24. Certified Pre-Owned devices are excluded. Offer not available to Visible customers and Total by Verizon customers. You must submit one redemption claim for each qualifying line with qualifying Unlimited plan and qualifying device within 60 days of order. Limit 12 per account. Your reward(s) will be sent via email within 8 weeks after receipt and validation of claim to the submitted email address. May not be combined with select promotional offers. We reserve the right to charge the amount of the Verizon eGift Card to your Verizon Wireless account if, within 6 months, service is canceled, price plan changes from an eligible unlimited plan, or the line is connected to a device payment plan regardless of whether the new device is activated. A suspension without billing will add the time you are suspended to your 6-month chargeback window. This gift card can be used to buy merchandise & services at stores/kiosks operated by Verizon or at verizon.com, but cannot be used at Verizon Authorized Retailer locations.
I don't see the Welcome Unlimited here. I wonder if there is another type of code to get the $200 on the Welcome Unlimited Plan
I am adding each line one at a time to get the 300/200 gift cards + the Cashback portal payout for each order, so basically an additional $700 over the chat method.

Edit: And are you using the Cap1 extension? is that the one that appears boosted when you go to vzw site? Wouldn't it be the add a line cashback and not the new service contract?
