Don't think so. It went down to 650 then back up to 1500 and now down to 580 so I think it's the lowest it will go. They are selling open box units for 770.

This or wait for Onkyo Rz50 or stick with Marantz Sr 5015. I like this for Dirac.

Cheapest 9.2 AVR with Diracl Live and Pre-Outs. Just add a 5 Channel amp and get excellent results. There are some great used Parasound / Emotiva 5 channel amps out there for $200-$300.

Would this be a better or worse receiver than a tx nr7100?

I bought at $649, not yet delivered. I will call tomorrow to see if I can get a price match/refund.
Still looking forward to the upgrade from my Denon 3313ci.

Sounds like on par but this has pre outs. I'm in the same boat as you as I've always wanted to try separates.
