With that said - I have owned both styles, both by DeWalt, and both of them won't reliably hold at 90 degrees. The lever lock does not work well, in my opinion. Or maybe I just got a dud.

this deal is NOT a dewalt promotion. if it was, you'd see the same deal at acme, maxtool and other vendors. this is just HD trying to move some product so they can show pretty charts to their shareholders at the end of the quarter.
if you see 1 SKU for all the items in the bundle, then no. there is nothing to hack. cash registers can't split a single SKU. as far as the POS system is concerned, it's 1 single item being sold. cash register won't let you return half of this bundle for the same reason it won't let you return half of a snickers bar
you can only hack things that show up in your cart or on your sales receipt as MULTIPLE SKUs. this was pretty obvious to me on day 1 that they started doing these BOGOs. i don't know why people are still struggling with this
