For those not familiar with laptop gaming, don't assume the 4090 in this laptop compares with the desktop equivalent... In fact, it more closely mirrors the performance of a desktop 4080...Just be aware of the tradeoff for convenience/portability.

100% True this won't run much better than an enthusiasts level CPU and a 7900xt build. Portability and the convenience of laptop come at a price.

Understood.... I've been on ebay long time as well... this is. Being sold directly by the OEM so I'm not as worried

Down votes are probably because everyone knows this, and someone who isn't familiar with laptop gaming isn't going to be hanging around maxed out laptop threads. Highly doubt anyone but a very small population of gamers are looking at 18" gaming laptops.

To be fair, I sold a used CPU before and the buyer wanted a refund and sends me back a bottle of vitamins. Frauds on both sides might be frequent
