Not that I am aware of. Most independent testers say it works almost as well as Tide and the price is way better.

Tide+ Ultra Oxi is the second highest rated detergent in CR testing (Tide Ultra Stain Release is #1). Kirkland is excellent and is number #5, with slightly lower scores for chocolate, blood and grass stains. Member's Mark is 13th.

It's hard the beat the value of Kirkland's detergent when it's on sale.
