I bought these from Amazon when they were on sale for $70. Definitely worth it. They move a ton of air even at the lowest setting. They are super loud though.

Got one for $30 about 5-6 weeks ago in warehouse and love it. Would absolutely have bought more if they had them.

Useful in a garage or in-home for air circulation. Huge "fan" of it, would highly recommend even at $50.

I use it whenever doing work in a garage (just to keep air flowing), it's great as a high-powered fan if you do any workouts or VR gaming indoors (especially in the summer), it's great for circulating air in a room quickly and for getting rid of cooking smells or smoke (my apartment doesn't have a vent, so my option is to let it smell all day or try to redirect the air out of a window)

The big benefits of the fan are the high power (it pushes a LOT of air!), the ability to swivel it up and down and lock it in place and the fact that it can be very directional with pushing air. It can also be hung upside down, I believe, if you need to attach it to a wall/ceiling.

Seems like a decent deal for indoor exercise spaces where you need a solid fan. Also like that ability to hang it from the basement ceiling. The analog switch would make a Google / Alexa integration perfect for when you start running or riding, but forget to turn on the fan!

A kid or someone spills water. I have two portable fans and they are one of my most used tools.

Porn sets get super hot, I've heard. Both literally and figuratively.

need something for my garage, was looking at Air King or Vyper.
This is a much better deal but the CFM is about half of those other ones and comes at a higher DB. Does anyone have experience with both that can comment?

Online reviews are saying something like this are better for moving air, and quieter...

If you're a loyal Dewalt guy, then it looks like it's a good value and moves air well. Main downside was noise.

Probably depends on the use case. I've had these before, they're nice, they're quieter than the Dewalt, and while they push a lot of air, the "slot" of air doesn't fit all use cases. I'd use the above link for something like drying a flooded carpet whereas I'd use the dewalt for something like a garage or working out, basically a 'large industrial fan' when the pedestal and boxfans aren't enough, or you need to angle them
