The offers do not change. Those scheduled to receive free TT will now have the opportunity to use TT online for free, or download the Premier version for $5. Use the download link and the registration key to install the software. Package is 363MB for Windows.

In the past, the free offer always show up at the bottom left corner of the portfolio page. TT waited an extra month this year to dole out the free software. Suspect this is by design to force those who must file estimated tax (01/16/25) to fork over $ at regular price.

I used last year TT to calculate 4th quarter est tax.

Deluxe supports rental income, home sale, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, dividends/qualified dividends, capital loss/capital gain, disaster credit, energy credit, etc.... Premier MAY have better guide to help those small businesses capture more deductions. I have some self-employment income, but virtually no out-of-pocket expenses, so no reason to pay more for Premier.

I also have both. The windows version requires registration key vs. username and PW only for the online version. It may be possible to assign the online version to a different user.
