This will accomplish 2 things. The larger tanks do actually have some 'venting' that the smaller bottles do not do. You never want this tank venting in the house. Period. Secondly, if using these in the house, it is highly advised to have some degree of fresh air coming in. So, a slightly opened window to put the hose through will accomplish this as well.
Another important thing to consider, if that you should really use the Mr Heater Buddy hose / adapter if you want to run the larger propane take. Many of these hoses have some residual oils in them, which can then be drawn in and through your heater, possibly causing damage or at the very least, will be 'burned off' in your house. If not choosing to go this route, get a hose with the in-line filter to capture any impurities (actually, you should probably do this regardless of what you are buying).
Lastly, have a carbon monoxide detector close by, closer to the floor in the room when you are running this, and keep an eye on it.

I'd rather pay the extra money and get it sooner. I'm just gonna return and buy it from a place. That'll ship it in a reasonable amount of time.
I ordered mine on the 23rd and it's not due for delivery until halfway through February.
