Not return-"hack"able.

Does anyone know how the batteries are packaged? I know the sander comes in it's own box, but I would want to sell out the batteries. I am not sure if the 2x 4Ah come in their own boxes or as one big kit with three batteries and a charger.

More recently, there was a post that said the batteries were up to $129 now, I do not know if that is a re-stock after clearance for the batteries. In this deal, you get the sander for $20 more at the going rate or $49 more at the clearance battery price. This is just info from previous posts.

Edit: A recent comment suggests that this is all 1 box.

Just buy the tool for $59 if that is all you want. Most people will buy from Home Depot unless you price the batteries 30% less than Home Depot's price. Home Depot usually has battery starter kits on sale for most of the year or as a package like this.

If you only need the batteries, the same battery set for $129:

Very good quality 1/2 x 18" ceramic belts can be had from Empire Abrasives. They sell unbranded belts made in the same factory as VSM's in Germany.

Just FYI: this belt sander comes with 3 sanding belts included. And, Home Depot has a set of 3 for $5 separately. This is a surprisingly handy device.
